As of Friday May 23rd 2020, a news story about an autistic teen named Alejandro Ripley came out that he was found dead after being abducted in the Miami-Dade area in Florida. Yet, the local authorities were able to trace the evidence back to his mother Patricia Ripley. Not only did she murder him, but she also lied about the abduction. Though she confessed, her reasons for murdering him were that he was in a better place.
Yet, this was no ordinary filicide, rather, Ripley’s behavior outlined the characteristics of someone with Borderline Personality Disorder or Anti Social Personality Disorder. Her story was also similar to the Diane Downs case
